Initially thought to be the pair that was made for Michael Jordan in 2003 to celebrate his 40th birthday. However, the pair will be different, but appears to be a nod to MJ’s PE.
In 2003, Jordan Brand made a player exclusive for Michael Jordan of the “Laser” Air Jordan 3. The sneakers were created to celebrate MJ’s 40th birthday. Rumor has it there are 40 pairs in existence. However, it’s just a rumor, and to date, only one set of photos has circulated.

This Air Jordan 3 comes highlighted in Phantom across the base, but the true highlight is the laser detailing across the upper. Other details include a White midsole with Black on the rubber outsole.
