Nike Preps The Vapor 12 For NYC’s US Open

New Yorkers are soon to be faced with an existential question: what will fill up the weekdays when a once-in-a-lifetime sports moment isn’t taking place in the Big Apple? Already plenty significant from a narrative standpoint, the “Statue of Liberty” colorway is now truly canonized in the city by way of Jalen Brunson. So why not run it back for a cross-sport moment? That’s what the Nike Vapor 12 is asking, here appearing decked out in the classic patina palette, flanking teal uppers and soles with grounded jet black and flashy silver. NYC stamps on the tongue and a tennis ball logo on a circular accessory and on the insoles finalize the concept.
