Nurses Will Love CELINE’s Reebok Collaboration

Michael Rider’s first collection as Creative Director of CELINE is introducing a new footwear partnership, and it’s the first-ever official sneaker brand partnership for the label.

During the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Rider unveiled the first chapter of CELINE’s collaboration with Reebok, centered around the iconic Reebok Freestyle. Originally introduced in the 1980s as one of the first athletic shoes designed specifically for women, the silhouette returns with a distinctly luxury-forward interpretation with stripped-down build.

In addition to removing the Reebok brand’s iconic strike logo, CELINE focuses on materials and finish. Each pair features premium lambskin leather uppers, presented with intentional scuffs and wear. The vintage treatment is paired with co-branded tongue labels featuring the archival Reebok Classic logo, subtly acknowledging the silhouette’s heritage while introducing it to a new audience. In an official presentation for fashion buyers, CELINE prepared the sneakers completely brand new, suggesting that the shoes will not in fact come with that pre-aged look.

Three colorways made their runway debut in Paris, although CELINE has confirmed that the partnership will ultimately span six different Freestyle releases. The remaining styles are expected to arrive throughout 2027.

The first installment of the CELINE x Reebok Freestyle collection is scheduled to release in September, with additional colorways launching throughout 2027.
