New team, new shoes. Giannis Antetokounmpo will begin his tenure with the Miami Heat in the Nike Giannis Freak 8, the latest chapter in what may eventually become Nike Basketball’s longest active signature line (once KD and LeBron call it a career). But the Freak 8 isn’t the only Giannis shoe in motion. The Immortality 5, his latest takedown model, is rolling out new colorways of its own, next up being this clean “Glacier Blue” option.
The titular color makes its entry on the reverse Swooshes, appearing on both sides in puffy stitching. Light Current Blue paints the rippled areas on the sides, while off-white Sail and Chalk tones fill out the remaining major elements. The insoles and tongue branding break slightly from the palette in neon green.
The Nike Giannis Immortality 5 “Glacier Blue” releases soon via Nike and retailers for just $85. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming basketball shoes.
