This Golf Company Turned The adidas Samba Into A Head Cover
What to know
ClosetKept AI- Dormie Workshop created golf headcovers based on adidas Samba and Gazelle sneakers.
- Set includes three Samba-inspired covers and one Gazelle-inspired cover for adidas golf team.
- Design features include tongues, tags, laces, stripes, and layered panels from original sneakers.
- Labels fashioned from sneakers' brown gum outsoles as a design detail.
- Custom commission; no retail release planned.
adidas sent golf accessory brand Dormie Workshop some sneakers with the task of turning them into headcovers, and they knocked it out of the park.
Commissioned for the Three Stripes’ golf team, the set includes three Samba-inspired covers and one modeled after the Gazelle. Each design is unmistakably rooted in its respective sneaker while still feeling purpose-built. The tongues and tags sit up top, while the laces, stripes, and layered panels make up the body. Our favorite detail might be the labels, cleverly fashioned from the sneakers’ brown gum outsoles.
These won’t see a release, but given the reaction they’re generating on social media, maybe Dormie Workshop should get back in the lab for a retail run. See detailed pics below if you’re as impressed as we are.
