Beyond’s Nike SB Dunk High “Anniversary” Releases in July

UPDATE 7/3/26: Beyond has revealed their anniversary Nike SB Dunk High today, along with the inspiration behind the project. The shoe is designed to mimic Scandinavian minimalist design principles, most notably the architecture of Alvar Aalto, also a native of Beyond’s hometown of Jyväskylä in Finland. The shoe references his design through small details, and has been approved by the Alvar Aalto foundation in his memory.
Beyond will begin their release rollout on July 8th through their hometown location, followed by a second in-store drop at their Helsinki store. The global release will follow later this month.

The Nike SB Dunk High has been dormant for a few years now. Luckily, Finnish skate shop Beyond has chosen the model as a special release for their twentieth anniversary, dropping this Summer.

The Nike Dunk’s low-top version has become the go to in recent years, moving away from decades of domination by the model’s original high-top cut. Nike SB has followed suit, as most casual wearers and skaters seem to prefer a lower profile sneaker and the freedom of ankle movement that accompanies it. However, this does not mean the SB Dunk High is dead. This week, we have an early look at a special pair coming this Summer from the Finnish skate shop Beyond. Beyond was established back in 2006, and this pair is a part of their twentieth anniversary celebration. The look features a crisp white leather base with Ivory toned suede overlays. Swooshes are added in Sand suede, while a patent leather collar is applied in a dark Blue Void shade. Finally, dark red outsoles and custom printed footbeds complete the look.

BEYOND X NIKE SB DUNK HIGH RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming release from Finland’s Beyond skate shop and Nike SB has not been made official yet, but is expected sometime in July 2026. This release will feature the label’s Dunk High model for its first release in several years, cast in white, ivory, and Blue Void tones. Pairs will likely release first from Beyond, hopefully followed by a wider drop at global skate shops and SNKRS. Pricing is set at $140.
